This live camera captures the scenic waters of Seokchon Lake in Jamsil-dong, Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea, showing a broad lake surface flanked by pedestrian walkways and tree-lined shores. To one side stands the tall silhouette of the Lotte World Tower, and the park’s walking paths gently curve around both the East and West sections of the lake. Songpa District is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. It is located in the southeastern part of the city, bordering the Han River to the north and the city of Gangneung to the east, although Gangneung is actually much further east and not a direct border; actual eastern border is with Gangdong District and Gwangjin District. The district has a total area of 21.5 square kilometers.

The district is a significant commercial and residential area, with many high-rise buildings, apartments, and office complexes. Songpa is also known for its vibrant cultural scene, with numerous performance venues, art galleries, and festivals throughout the year. Jamsil, a major commercial and entertainment area, is located in Songpa District, featuring many shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment facilities.

The district is also home to several major landmarks, including Jamsil Stadium, a popular sports venue. Songpa District has a well-developed transportation system, with several subway lines and bus routes connecting the district to other parts of the city. The district is also close to several major highways, making it easily accessible by car.
