Our Mission

EARF is a manually-aggregative platform for real-time planetary awareness. We combine live streams, radio, local weather, time, and contextual data into a single, uncluttered interface that presents the world as it is, no headlines, no algorithms, just presence.
Use EARF to observe, reflect, and expand perspective: a digital window into places and moments you might never otherwise see.
We curate and accept contributions for live streams, places‑of‑interest entries, and other location data — prioritizing verified, credited sources to keep the map useful, accurate, and trustworthy. While we employ smart backend systems to keep streams alive and up to date, all streams go through a manual review process before appearing on EARF.
Our Vision
We believe shared, real-time observation can change how people relate to one another and to the planet. By making the world visible together, we foster empathy, practical understanding, and a calm, informed public conversation.
Our aim is to make presence scalable: steady, reliable views of the planet that support learning, awareness, and collective care.
Why EARF?
Most people experience only their immediate surroundings. EARF widens that view, not as entertainment, but as access to the living, changing planet. We prioritize authenticity, low-latency feeds, and respectful context so viewers can trust what they see.
More than a set of streams, EARF aims to feel like a living, breathing digital world: continuous feeds, sensors, and local voices layered into a shared map of moments and rhythms. It’s a place to notice, learn, and connect — for curiosity, research, or simple presence — where small local details and large planetary patterns sit side by side. EARF’s core goal is to remind you that the world is alive and far larger than anyone can imagine; when that perspective arrives, small problems shrink and you gain a new outlook on life and your situation. If we help you reach that, we’ve done our job.
Our Goal
We build practical software, tools and APIs to make continuous, high-quality observation possible at scale, from ingestion and verification pipelines to searchable map services and developer APIs. These systems power EARF's reliability and make data useful to researchers, communities and builders.
Today many of our core services and APIs are private as we focus on stability, trust, and responsible growth. With future support and investment we aim to expand into more public infrastructure while preserving the integrity and scale of the platform.
We also support creators who stream on EARF via third‑party platforms. Verified creators can add donation links and receive clear attribution — providing simple, reliable ways for their audiences to support their work. We believe creators create best when they have the platform and means to sustain their work, and we aim to provide that support.
Partnerships & Contributions
EARF is open to strategic partnerships with brands, broadcasters, research institutions, nonprofits, local organizations, technology partners, and investors to expand live coverage and elevate the quality and reliability of location data. Collaborations help scale infrastructure and extend impact.
We welcome contributions — live cameras, radio streams, environmental sensors, datasets, photos and contextual notes. Submissions are reviewed, attributed, and used to enrich search and public understanding; contribution workflows are designed for clarity and trust.
As EARF grows we may make parts of our platform more public or offer new public APIs in collaboration with partners and supporters. To discuss partnerships or contribute data, please reach out to partners@earf.tv.
