Parksville is a city located on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Situated in Central Vancouver Island, it lies along Highway 19A, positioned approximately 37 kilometers northwest of Nanaimo and 48 kilometers east of Port Alberni. The city is informally considered a twin city with the neighbouring community of Qualicum Beach to its southeast.
