Whistler is a resort municipality located in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District of British Columbia, Canada. Situated in the southern Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains, it lies approximately 125 kilometers north of Vancouver and 36 kilometers south of Pemberton. The community occupies the Whistler Valley, positioned between the headwaters of the Green River and the upper reaches of the Cheakamus River, flanked by glaciated mountains including the Garibaldi Ranges.
