Hailuoto is a Finnish island municipality located in the Northern Ostrobothnia region. Situated in the Gulf of Bothnia opposite the city of Oulu, it serves as an administrative unit within Finland. The island lies approximately 53 kilometres from Oulu across the Luodonselkä sea area.
