Köngäs is identified in available records not as a geographical location within Lapland, Finland, but rather as a Finnish surname. The premise of Köngäs being a place in Lapland appears to be a misunderstanding of the provided data, which focuses entirely on the distribution and notable bearers of this specific family name across northern Europe. The historical context for Köngäs is derived from genealogical tracking of the surname rather than municipal founding dates or territorial developments.
