Monheim am Rhein is a town situated on the right bank of the Rhine River in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies within the district of Mettmann, positioned between the southern suburbs of Düsseldorf to the north and the Bergisches Land region to the east. The city borders Leverkusen to the south, Cologne across the river to the southwest, and Dormagen to the west.
