Bran is a commune located in Brașov County within the historical region of Transylvania, Romania. Situated in the southern part of the county near the borders with Dâmbovița and Argeș counties, it belongs to the Țara Bârsei sub-region. The settlement lies at the northern end of the Rucăr-Bran Pass, positioned between the Bucegi Mountains to the southeast and the Piatra Craiului Mountains to the west.
