Grimentz is a village situated in the district of Sierre within the Swiss canton of Valais. It lies at an altitude of 1,620 meters above sea level in the Val d'Anniviers region of the Pennine Alps. Historically an independent municipality, it merged on January 1, 2009, with neighboring Ayer, Chandolin, Saint Jean, Saint-Luc, and Vissoie to form the new municipality of Anniviers.
