Clearwater Beach is a beach located in Clearwater, Florida, United States, situated on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico. It lies just west of the rest of the city, separated by the Intracoastal Waterway and connected to it via the Clearwater Memorial Causeway. The area is characterized by white sand beaches and clear blue water stretching for 2.5 miles along the Gulf coast. It sits on a barrier island that features a full marina on the Intracoastal Waterway side.

The Clearwater Jolley Trolley has provided transportation up and down the beach since 1982, marking a significant development in local transit infrastructure. In July 2008, the long-anticipated Beach Walk project was completed, featuring a compact pedestrian zone with high-end hotels and condos. This beautification effort greatly improved the attractiveness of the area adjacent to the beach, integrating commercial spaces with public amenities along the shoreline.

Pier 60 serves as a central spot for beachgoers, named for State Road 60 which terminates in Clearwater Beach. It features a playground, a snack bar with an attached souvenir shop, and a long fishing pier. The area is linked on the south by a short bridge to Sand Key, where Sand Key Park is located. Mandalay Avenue forms the main drag on the north end, while Gulfview Boulevard serves the south, both areas featuring a variety of businesses and retail stores.

The area offers shopping, restaurants, and activities such as parasailing, jet ski rentals, boat tours, miniature golf, fishing charters, and pirate ship cruises. Daily events include Sunsets at Pier 60, which features street performers and musical acts, alongside nightly displays of goods sold by local artisans. The beach is also known for its nightlife scene, with popular night spots including Shephard's Beach Resort and the Palm Pavilion Inn.

Clearwater Beach has an annual mean temperature of around 75 °F, bordering on humid subtropical and tropical savanna climates. It experiences hot, humid summers with frequent thunderstorms and warm, drier winters, with nearly two-thirds of annual precipitation falling from June through September. The location is approximately 20 miles from Tampa International Airport and 25 miles from downtown Tampa, with St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport also in close proximity.
