Known Issues

  • Stream Page Errors (404/410): Some search engines may still cache old versions of URL paths. For example, URLs like /stream/m5botpaBWgE may return 404, 403, or 410 errors as they are no longer the URL format we use. We now use manually set URLs for each stream.
  • Radio Browser: During peak hours and busy times, the radio browser may become unresponsive or unavailable, causing the radio section to become non-functional. We are working to improve its reliability and performance.
  • FAFO Forensics & Anti Fraud Operation (FAFO): Our FAFO (Forensics and Anti Fraud Operation') system is not 100% perfect. False triggers may occur, and these are more likely on mobile, tablet, or smaller screen devices. This is a known issue and we are always working to improve detection accuracy.
  • Responsive Layout & Styling (Mobile/Tablet): The responsive layout and overall styling for mobile and tablet devices are not finalized. Fixes and improvements are ongoing, and many smaller screen devices may encounter issues. We are aware of this and continually working to improve the experience.
  • Homepage Layout Shifts on Resize: Resizing the browser window (especially on the homepage, but possibly on other pages) can cause content layout shifts or elements to go offscreen. This is a known issue with the responsive layout. Workaround: manually adjust the browser window size again or refresh the page to restore the correct layout.
  • YouTube Chat Box: YouTube's embedded live chat may not display at all, or the input box may be missing, in browsers other than Google Chrome (including Brave, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, and Firefox). This is not a bug in EARF or a CSS/flexbox issue—it's caused by browser privacy features like Enhanced Tracking Protection, third-party cookie blocking, and cross-site tracking prevention. These protections block YouTube/Google from loading the chat iframe and are now enabled by default in most browsers. There is no programmatic way for us to bypass these restrictions; users must manually adjust their browser settings if they want the chat to appear in the sidebar. Workarounds: 1) Shift-click the YouTube chat icon in the sidebar to instantly pop out chat in a new tab (this always works, regardless of cookie or tracking settings). 2) Or, allow third-party cookies and cross-site tracking for YouTube in your browser settings if you want the chat to appear inside the sidebar.
