Kitzbühel is a medieval town located in the Kitzbühel Alps along the river Kitzbüheler Ache in Tyrol, Austria. Situated approximately 100 km east of the state capital Innsbruck and between Zell am See and Innsbruck, it lies within the Leukental valley. The settlement serves as the administrative centre of the Kitzbühel District, functioning as a key hub in Northeast Tyrol.
