Mogilev, also known as Mahilyow, is a major city located in eastern Belarus. It serves as the administrative centre of the Mogilev Region and stands as the third-largest city in the country. The urban area sits on the banks of the Dnieper River, positioned approximately 76 kilometres from the border with Russia's Smolensk Oblast and 105 km from Bryansk Oblast.
