Pori is a coastal city in Finland and serves as the regional capital of Satakunta. It sits on the west coast of the country, positioned on the estuary of the Kokemäki River approximately ten kilometres from the Gulf of Bothnia. The municipality covers an area of 2,062 square kilometres, including significant water bodies, and is situated near the geological uplift delta formed by post-glacial rebound.
