L'Ametlla de Mar is a municipality situated in the Baix Ebre comarca within the coastal region of Catalonia, Spain. It occupies a specific stretch of coastline bounded by Cap de Terme to the north and barranc de l'Àliga to the south. The town shares its southern boundary with El Perelló, while its north-western edge meets Tivissa along the Ebro riviera, and its north-eastern border touches Vandellós and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant in the Baix Camp comarca.
