Bend is a city in Central Oregon and the seat of government of Deschutes County, United States. It sits to the east of the Cascade Range on the Deschutes River within the Oregon High Desert. The city is bordered by the Deschutes National Forest to the southwest and lies on the boundary of the Eastern Cascades Slopes and Foothills ecoregion.
