Glenwood is a suburb located in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It sits approximately 30 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district within the local government area of the City of Blacktown. The suburb is situated at coordinates -33.7340, 150.9340, placing it firmly within the greater Sydney metropolitan region.

The area takes its name from an historic property called Glenwood Park, which was established in the 1940s. Before this naming, the property was known as Norfolk Vale from 1846 to 1882 and Sorrento from 1882 to 1941. Glenwood was formally recognised as a suburb in 1996 and is noted as the first site developed within the Rouse Hill Development area.

The suburb features heritage-listed sites, most notably Exeter Farm located at 2 Knightsbridge Avenue. Residential character is defined by large separate houses, with 81.6% having four or more bedrooms. Key landmarks include Valentine Sport Park, which hosts the headquarters of Football NSW, and various sporting clubs such as the Glenwood Redbacks Soccer Club and the Northwest Hurricanes Junior Rugby League Club.

Cultural diversity is a defining feature, with significant populations born in India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, China, and Fiji. This diversity is reflected in the languages spoken at home, including Punjabi, Hindi, Tagalog, Mandarin, Tamil, and Sinhalese alongside English. The community is supported by institutions such as Glenwood High School, Caddies Creek Public School, Parklea Public School, Holy Cross Primary School, and Emmanuel Baptist Church.

At the 2021 census, the population was 15,829, with a median age of 37. Transport infrastructure includes the Westlink M7 Motorway along the southern border and Old Windsor Road to the east. The suburb is served by Bella Vista and Norwest stations on the Sydney Metro Northwest, as well as Burns and Sorrento stations on the North-West T-way, providing access to Parramatta and the Sydney CBD.
